Event Overview:

The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) approved and sponsored a State-Level Technical Quiz Competition for the Civil Engineering group in the Nagpur & Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar region. The event was held on 9th January 2026, hosted by Parikrama Polytechnic, Kashti, under the leadership of Hon. Shri. Babanrao Pachpute Vichardhara Trust.

Inaugural Session:

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including:

  •  Shri. Aashish A. Nikam (Special Task Officer, RBTE, Chh. Sambhaji Nagar)

  •  Dr. Ajay M. Agarkar (Principal, Government Polytechnic Ahilyanagar)

  •  Dr. Dada B. Karanjule (Senior Lecturer, Government Polytechnic Ahilyanagar)

These esteemed dignitaries made valuable contributions to the success of the competition, encouraging students to excel in the field of Civil Engineering.

Event Coordination:

The competition was organized with the following key responsibilities:

  •  Chief Program Coordinator: Dr. Prashant M. Suryavanshi (Principal, Parikrama Polytechnic,Kashti)

  •  Program Coordinator: Mr. Satish K. Tate (HOD, Civil Engineering Department)

  •  Coordinator: Ms. Chaitrali S. Gawade (Lecturer, Civil Engineering Department)

Participation:

A total of 13 colleges participated in the quiz competition, showcasing their skills and knowledge in Civil Engineering.

Prize Winners:

  •  First Prize: Shri. Hiralal Hastimal (Jain Brothers) Polytechnic, Chandwad.

  •  Second Prize: Gramin Technical and Management Campus, Nanded.

  •  Consolation Prize: Sandip Polytechnic, Nashik.

This event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their technical proficiency while fostering a spirit of healthy competition among institutions in the region.

Conclusion:

The State-Level Technical Quiz Competition organized by Parikrama Polytechnic, Kashti, proved to be a successful initiative in promoting academic excellence in the field of Civil Engineering. The MSBTE congratulates all the winners and participants for their hard work and dedication.
