Introduction
The Medical Electronics Department at Parikrama Polytechnic, Kashti is dedicated to developing future-ready professionals who can bridge the gap between healthcare and technology. Affiliated with MSBTE (Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education), our department follows a meticulously designed curriculum that integrates medical science with advanced electronics, preparing students to meet the growing demands of the biomedical and healthcare industry.
Our program offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, with a strong emphasis on industry exposure. A distinctive feature of our course is the 6-month in-house and industry internship, which is part of the curriculum. This internship enables students to work with hospitals, diagnostic centers, medical equipment companies, and R&D labs, gaining real-time experience in medical instrumentation, device maintenance, and healthcare technologies.
Key Highlights of the Department:
- Modern Laboratories: Fully equipped labs for analog and digital electronics, biomedical instrumentation, microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems.
- Experienced Faculty: A team of committed and experienced educators constantly strives to ensure a student-centric, skill-oriented learning experience.
- Strong TPO Cell: Our Training and Placement Office (TPO) Cell actively connects students with top-tier recruiters in the biomedical and healthcare sectors. With an excellent placement track record, the cell ensures our students are placed in well-established hospitals, companies, and startups.
- Entrepreneurship Development (EDP) Cell: The EDP Cell inspires and supports students to transform their innovative ideas into business ventures. We mentor aspiring entrepreneurs and help them access funding, incubation, and technical guidance.
- Industry Collaboration: The department is continuously working to build collaborations with industries for training, internships, and project-based learning.
- Holistic Development: Through seminars, industrial visits, workshops, and technical competitions, we nurture both the technical and soft skills of our students.
We take pride in shaping technically sound, ethically strong, and socially responsible medical electronics engineers. At Parikrama Polytechnic, we don’t just teach engineering—we prepare innovators for the future of healthcare.
