It gives me immense pleasure to lead the department of Computer Engineering, our college is one of the premier institutions, unique and is striving hard towards the goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standard to achieve academic excellence. The aim of the department is to produce the state of the art competent computer technicians in imbibed with the spirit of professionalism and responsible citizenship. A well-qualified and dedicated faculty looks after the academic day to day activities.
Computer science is a fast-moving field that includes the disciplines of Mathematics and Programming. We train students to keep pace with the changes in the developments in all the fields of Computer Technology. Our students develop practical skills such as programming oriented (Java, C, C++), visual basic packages, graphics and hardware oriented (digital logic and microprocessor). We train our students to attain special knowledge of computer science theories, methods, practices and strategy and specific understanding of computing architecture and design.
The department has six major laboratories Network & Internet Lab, Hardware Lab, Programming Lab, Software Testing Lab, Communication Lab., Project Lab . Department organizes various training programs, expert lectures , industrial visits , technical events like quiz, paper presentations, project exhibitions for the benefit of students. It’s my sincere appeal to all the SSC and HSC pass students to put their best foot forward and join the computer department to achieve excellence in career.
